We are a group of women who enjoy meeting once a month, and we are called LAMPLIGHTERS. This group was started way back when the UMC had groups known as “circles” and were a part of The United Methodist Women. Although those days are gone, we still enjoy our time together when we meet in the Historic Sanctuary parlor, sit around the table and enjoy hearing the lesson presented by Mabren, sign cards brought by Harvey Lou that we send to the ill or those who can’t be with us, pray for the those who have a need, and enjoy refreshments served by the hostesses. So remember to put this on your calendar, remember to come and be with us, and bring a friend who needs this fellowship we so enjoy. This month Lamplighters will meet on Monday, December 12 at 2pm in the parlor of the Historic Sanctuary.
